Fall has arrived with the slightly colder weather and bright and colorful display of leaves. That can mean only one thing in my household: it’s time to do a cookout before the snow flies. What’s great about these fall cookout products is that you can order each one online and it arrives in a styrofoam cooler in most cases. Pull out the product and put it right on the grill!

1. Get Maine Lobster Rare Tail Tuesday

The most amazing product I have tested all year, the Rare Tail Tuesday product from Get Maine Lobster is a stunner. It’s bigger than my arm and has so much meat that you can share it with a friend or two. I put a massive pot on my grill and found the water started boiling faster outside than on my stove. Then, the lobster tail cooked up to perfection and tasted delightful outside on a patio. It’s a feast that is memorable and unique for everyone involved.

2. Chef’s Garden Grilling Box

Available with or without the meat to grill, the Chef’s Garden Grilling Box is a nice supplement to a fall cookout. The pack doesn’t just include veggies like carrots, eggplant, arrowhead cabbage, and sweet peppers but the eclectic, unique version of each (for example, the carrots were in multiple colors and varieties) and everything is as fresh as you can imagine. I cooked up some steaks and added the veggies as a complement, even cooking them on the grill.

3. North Coast Seafoods Wild-Caught Salmon Burgers

I love eclectic, foodie-inspired products. They turn into conversation starters with family and friends, and really that is what a fall cookout is all about. These North Coast Seafoods Wild-Caught Salmon Burgers are shaped like burgers but taste exactly like a fresh filet of salmon (since that’s what they really are). Cooking up the salmon proved just as easy on the grill as a normal burger, and you can flame cook them well-done or not so much if desired.

4. Eagle Rock Beef New York Strip Steak

There’s nothing like cooking up a steak in the fall when the cold weather is a bit nippy. For one, you can warm yourself by the grill as you watch the steak juices gather. I cooked these Eagle Rock Beef New York Strip Steaks with some light seasoning. They come in three different sizes and are at least 21-days dry aged for the best overall taste. I was impressed with how flavorful they were compared to other steaks I’ve cooked up recently. The company also has some great subscription boxes.

5. Harry & David Grilling Collection for Tailgating

Sometimes a product comes in and I have to adjust my testing procedure a little. In this case, I want to cook up the hot dogs and burgers at an actual tailgate party, so I invited some friends over (I had a Jeep Gladiator in for review at the time). I used a portable grill and put all of the plates and utensils on the back of the Gladiator and cooked the Grilling Collection on a portable grill. It was a hoot! The pack includes a 12-pack of Rastelli’s antibiotic-free grass-fed beef burgers, a 12-pack of all-beef hot dogs, and one precooked baby back pork rib slab that weighs a full two pounds.

6. Omaha Steaks Griller’s Essential Bundle

I was impressed all over again with this Omaha Steaks Griller’s Essential Bundle that includes so many grilling options I had to test them out over several get togethers. Famous for how you can order them online and they arrive in a cooler you can re-use as needed, the Griller’s Essential Bundle includes steaks, burgers, hot dogs, plus Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignons, Air-Chilled Boneless Chicken Breasts, and my personal favorite Caramel Apple Tartlets.

7. Primal Beef

Primal Beef is one of my favorite options for truly tasty beef products. including a subscription service and packed products like this one that includes several samples. I was impressed with the quality when I tried cooking up a few burgers. The 1/3-pounds Primal Burger Patties were thick and meaty; at that larger size, they were filling enough to mean no one asked for a second burger. Not all hamburger meat and steaks are created equal, and a standout is the Coulotte Steak because it is more flavorful. I also like this Pitmaster package that makes it a little easier to slow cook.
