Our outdoor event best friend is the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom Portable Speaker. It pairs with my phone easily by pressing the Bluetooth button on the speaker. A blue light flashes, a noise is heard and I select the speaker’s name from my phone settings.
The impressive part of this speaker is that it is super light (3.3 lbs) to carry along anywhere, and the battery charge lasts all day. It is waterproof which is fantastic at the lake, no panic when it got kicked in the sand or knocked out of the pontoon.
The sound is great for such a small speaker! The mids and vocals are crisp and the Soundcore Motion Boom has a bass booster. My family really appreciates bass in their speakers and the only minor complaint they had was that the bass was not as full as they like on our living room speaker set up. However, the portability, durability, and the ability to pair with additional speakers totally make up for not sounding as full as what’s in our home.
Our family is soaking up the great outdoor weather even though school has already started. The soundtrack for our family this summer has been The Olympic Theme Song, a Disney Sing-Along playlist, and Need to Breathe’s Album “Into The Mystery”.
