I grew up in Wales, United Kingdom. I now live in the United States with my wife and we love to travel. With that being said, quarantining has not been fun (is it for anyone?). I think we will find a new appreciation for “normal” life once we return to it. When we finish these stay-at-home times and are finally able to travel again, I cannot wait to bring my new Solo Grand Travel Backpack on my next adventure.
My wife and I may love to travel but we don’t enjoy packing our bags. Personally, I struggle to understand the concept of packing lightly. I always pack my essentials — my PlayStation 4, JBL speaker, Beats Headphones, Apple Macbook, and so on. At this point, my carry-on bag is usually ready to burst.
When I arrive at the airport and enter the security checkpoint, I quickly remove every electrical essential I have, along with my shoes and coats, trying to avoid being “that guy” holding up the line (we’ve all been there). I often end up regretting my choice of baggage for the trip: it’s always too bulky, too small, or too complicated.
After receiving the Solo Grand Travel Backpack, I still wanted to test it in some unique situations. It will be weeks until I breeze through security with this bag (I’m keeping my distance from airports right now, for obvious reasons), so my wife and I decided to go on a picnic with the bag instead.
Packing for our hike was simple and stress-free with this backpack. The largest compartment actually opens up similar to a suitcase, making packing for a business trip (or just a small picnic) easier than ever. This compartment can hold up to 8 Gallons of storage, meaning there’s plenty of space for a few pairs of shoes, clothes, and electronics — or in our case sandwiches, drinks, and a blanket.
The mesh compartments and padded laptop compartment were perfect for storing the ice packs for our picnic, and they’ll be handy for organizing toiletries on a future trip. The backpack also features a back strap that can slide over a luggage handle when your back needs a break during the airport rush.
The overall design and feel of the bag is clean and modern, nicely blending fashion and functionality. The backpack is ultimately comfortable to wear, whether on a short hike to our favorite picnic spot, or rushing through security at LAX. The Solo Grand Travel Backpack is sure to be a great companion wherever your next adventure may be.
Having read this I thought it was really enlightening. I appreciate you spending some time and energy to put this informative article together. I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and commenting. But so what, it was still worth it!
