From my 30-minute deep dive into the abyss that is YouTube to tracking my miles during my run, we are relying on our phones more and more.
I was looking for a phone case to protect my phone in my everyday life. I’m very particular about my choice of cases, however. They must do their job, first and foremost, to protect my phone.
In doing this, I also don’t want a heavy, bulky case that will ruin the ergonomic look of the iPhone. I came across UAG’s Biodegradable Outback case, and decided to test it out.
The design of the case fits nicely with the design of the iPhone. The UAG case is lightweight, yet durable and strong enough to help avoid a broken shell, or worse.
The feel of the case in my hand is great. It makes holding my phone during my run, or just scrolling through Twitter, much more pleasing.
The case protects the camera on my phone nicely while the raised bevel on the front protects my screen from the sides, along with UAG’s Glass Screen Shield that all protects the screen.
The case passed the military grade drop test — which involves dropping it over four feet 26 times from different angles.
The Biodegradable Outback case checks all the boxes, including the compatibility with my Mophie wireless charger as well as Apple Pay.
UAG also offers a one year warranty on all their products. It’s available in three main colors (lilac, black and olive) and an unique orange case (online exclusive).
The case is also made from 100% biodegradable plastic as UAG aims to inspire others to take steps towards change for a more sustainable future for our planet.
UAG states that “as humans making impactful changes, we are growing, so one could say that at UAG, we also are built to grow further.”
The case is strong and durable.
It’s your best choice to not only protect your phone but the planet.
