This case that can charge your smartphone is a lifesaver

“Do you have a charger on you?”

This question has become commonplace. Our smartphones have become more and more prevalent in society, and their batteries have struggled to keep up. Nowadays, there’s not much you can’t do on a smartphone — that means that we need our phones to be able to keep up with us.

We can’t accomplish as much when we’re constantly fretting about running out of charge on our smartphones.

The Mophie Juice Pack Air is a novel way to charge your smartphone — it’s a charger embedded within the phone’s case. I stumbled upon this case while doing some research, and I thought that a $60 case that charged your phone sounded too good to be true.

Turns out, I was wrong. This case is the real deal.

This case has a variety of useful features. Not only does it charge your phone wirelessly, but the case itself can be charged both wirelessly and with a cable. It’s compatible with Qi (along with other wireless charging options) and extremely convenient to charge. In fact, you can put your phone, still inside the case, onto a charging pad and it will fully power your phone first, and then the case itself. I can easily charge both things overnight, ensuring that my phone won’t run out of battery anytime the next day.

The case also has an on/off button that controls when the case sends power to the phone. Also, one push of this button will indicate how much battery the case has left, so I know how much more charge the case can give my phone.

Initially, I had doubts about the strength and protection this case would provide. All of those doubts are long gone now. The case is remarkably slim (mine weighs less than 0.2 pounds), it’s easy to put on and take off and is made of tough plastic with rubber support pads on the inside, along with raised corners to protect the phone from pesky scratches and cracks.

It can feel bulky at first, but this is a small price to pay for the added protection. With the case on, I’ve dropped my phone too many times to count, and there is not a single crack or scratch on either my phone or the case.

One underrated feature of this case is that on the bottom of the case, the speaker ports are forward-facing — so the sound actually is projected towards me, and not out of the side of the phone. I had no idea how much I would love this feature until I heard my music being played at near speaker-level volumes.

Mophie has multiple different cases that work with 16 different models of both iPhones and Android phones — no need to worry about your phone being too outdated to work with one of these cases. These cases are compatible with iPhones as old as the iPhone 7 and Androids as old as the Samsung Galaxy S8. They also come in up to six different colors, and the subtle sleekness of its shape is remarkably stylish.

This smartphone case is shaping the future for charging technologies. No wireless charger can match the Mophie cases in practicality and ease of use. It’s perfect for the on-the-go person who needs more battery life out of their phone.

Which is basically all of us.

  2. I was wondering if you ever considered changing the page layout
of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got
to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with
it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for
only having 1 or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?
