As a second-time mom, I was well aware of how many hours would be spent rocking our newest member of the family. That is why finding a multi-functional chair was a priority for me. Some non-negotiable things on my search list included: style, comfort, reclining, and easy to clean.
There were a few chairs that accomplished those things, but there was one that specifically stood out among the rest. The Harbour Electronic Recliner and Swivel Glider not only checked all the boxes on my list, but it also added a few I didn’t know I needed.
One of the biggest things this specific chair has going for it is the ability to charge my phone! On the inside right arm of the chair, there is a little control panel that includes a USB port. I love having the accessibility to recharge my phone or other devices all while my baby recharges and I get those sweet nap time snuggles!
On that same control panel are two buttons that recline the chair. At first, I was a little nervous about this part because I didn’t want any noise to wake up my baby as I got up to put her in her bed. However, on the first use, my worries were put to rest as I closed the chair and didn’t hear a peep from the chair or my baby. Talk about a mom win!
As far as comfortability goes, the Harbour Electronic Recliner and Swivel Glider are about a 9/10. I always find myself in a Goldilocks and the Three Bears situation where chairs are either too soft or too firm but this one is just right. The only thing I’d change about the chair is to make it a little deeper of a seat. However, keep in mind that I am 5”11 and all legs. So for the less lanky individual, this chair could be just right.
The fabric is definitely something that needs to be discussed. First, the feel of the Harbour Electronic Recliner and Swivel Glider is very soft and not scratchy at all. Second, an important thing for me is that this chair is Greenguard Gold Certified, meaning it’s not going to release any chemicals into our home’s air. Cleaner air for me and my family is always a plus. Third, the Harbour Electronic Recliner and Swivel Glider has a water repellant and stain-resistant fabric made from at least 40 recycled plastic bottles. So not only is the fabric a good choice for me, it’s a good choice for our planet.
Overall I’d highly recommend the Harbour Electronic Recliner and Swivel Glider if you are in the market for a chair that is more than just a chair.
