I am a preparer.
It’s not the fanciest title–you won’t likely find it on my LinkedIn profile–but it’s true. On the weekends, you’ll find me prepping meals for the upcoming week. I love creating to-do lists. I always pack two weeks in advance for vacations. Oftentimes, I make a plan A, B, C and D for every possible scenario. (I think I just realized I’m a great candidate for Doomsday Preppers on National Geographic…). Anything that eases preparation for the next day, week, etc. is very attractive to me and my busy lifestyle.
I recently tested the Lululemon New Crew Backpack and loved how much simpler it made prepping for my workday. Lululemon recently designed and released this backpack to function seamlessly as both your work and gym bag. Not only did it combine my old work tote and gym duffle into one, it saved me a few headaches along the way.
There are few features I absolutely require of a work/gym bag. Surprisingly, this backpack checked every box. First, this bag carries weight comfortably. I packed my work laptop, personal laptop and gym clothes inside. The straps carried the weight effortlessly without ever digging into my shoulders.
Second, the backpack is water-repellent. This feature is especially important in my test as I am notoriously known for screwing bottle caps on incorrectly (whoops). The bag withstood water leaks like a pro. I simply wiped it clean in seconds–no harm no foul.
Third, it features an advanced, versatile design. I stowed my Blender Bottle in the exterior water bottle pocket, packed my 15 inch MacBook Pro in the interior padded laptop pocket and zipped my tennis shoes into the larger, separate compartment.
I loved the stylish black camo design as well. It’s awesome.
All of these features make this backpack the perfectly stylish, practical, work-to-gym asset. Whether I’m prepping for a long week of conference calls and yoga classes, or the next Doomsday natural disaster, this backpack is coming with me.
