An air fryer by Uber that’s super easy to use

My sons love to air fry food. It’s a craze I wasn’t sure I wanted to join. But I did. Yep, I sure did. First, I bought a big air fryer that I could use for our whole family. Then we gave it to my middle son when he moved into his own apartment. By that time, I was hooked and needed a new one. However, I didn’t want a huge one. They take up too much space and my husband and I didn’t need a big one for just the two of us. So I found the Uber Air Fryer ($100) made by Uber Appliance. Mine is the 1300-watt, 3.7 qt capacity, which is perfect for my husband and me or, if two of our three sons are home, we can even use it for the four of us. If all five of us are together, I wouldn’t use it unless I wanted to make the food in batches.

If you read the reviews on our site for the Chefman Multi-Function Air Fryer or Iris USA Air Fryer Convection Toaster Oven, don’t try to compare this one – it’s like comparing apples and oranges. It is smaller and has fewer functions. However, it does have seven pre-sets (fries, shrimp, bake, chicken, chips, fish, defrost, and steak), which is helpful. Also, when I received my Uber air fryer, it felt a little lighter, and I worried it was more cheaply made. So far, it has not disappointed me. It cooks well and cleans up easily. All I have to do is use a sponge and warm water, or I can put the basket and oil strainer in the dishwasher.

I tried it and liked it!

I like that this fryer includes a wide range of cooking temperatures (180 – 400), times (up to 30 minutes), and a recipe guide. I’m always looking for new recipes, and while I haven’t tried their recipe for chicken tenders, I hope it’s better than the one I tried in my last air fryer. Let’s just say it didn’t turn out well. Stay tuned! I did use the fryer just the other day to make tater tots (don’t judge…I have found that I love them!). They turned out great! I like mine extra crispy, and this fryer made them perfectly. I also used them to make frozen burritos when I was home alone and didn’t want to cook. Since I’m a newbie to the air fryer, I was surprised at how well they turned out.

I haven’t had to use the 90-day hassle-free manufacturer warranty, but it sounds good. I’d hoped for a more extended warranty, but I guess having 90 days to try it out is better than nothing!

If you’re looking for a smaller air fryer with less “fussiness” than some of those out there, the Uber Air Fryer is a good one to try. It has everything my husband and I need and fits the bill, in my opinion, for smaller families.
