Hubble helps me hustle through work on my iPad Pro (or Air)

I’m a heavy iPad Pro user as I’ve shared in a multitude of other reviews leading up to this one. I run this company with it. I also use it for personal growth and entertainment.

I am familiar with having a plethora of adapters. I have a gadget pouch for simply that, adapters. I carry this with me everywhere I bring my backpack for those moments that I need to plug in something other than a USB-C — or more than one thing at a time.

There are fantastic hub options available. But all require plugging in when needed — meaning I end up carrying these around when not in use. Even the Hyper 6-in-1 adapter requires plugging in and unplugging during transport.

Fledging saw this problem and decided to do something about it. They created a perfectly balanced medium between a folio case, a thin protective case, and a USB-C hub. The Hubble iPad Pro/Air case is truly wonderful.

Now I have one case that can do it all. I no longer need to bring a bag of adapters to a meeting with me. I no longer need to wonder what scenarios might occur where I would need a hub. I can show up anywhere with this case on and know that I am prepared — and protected.

Not only that, but I also know that I am not wasting valuable battery life — thanks to the travel switch. Also, I know that I am not adding unnecessary bulk while still gaining protection for my beloved iPad Pro.

The Hubble by Fledging has a 4K 60Hz HDMI port, a USB-A port, 2 USB-C Ports, a 3.5mm audio jack (headphone jack), an SD card reader, a microSD card reader, and supports Apple Pencil charging. All of this fits in a slim hub that is a one-and-done setup. Did I mention that it also matches my space grey and aluminum finish perfectly? Even the detachable magnetic cover matches beautifully.

I can plug in whatever peripherals I want to, without needing a hub. I can travel with no worry of needing hubs, and I can rest easy knowing that my iPad is not only more productive but also more protected.

I have found this case to be incredibly useful, though I am a very heavy keyboard user. I still switch back and forth between cases — relying on my keyboard case to get my heavy typing workload done. There is something about the Hubble that just makes me want to keep returning to it. Maybe one day we can get a slim keyboard case that also has a built-in hub… or maybe one day Apple will give us a second USB-C port. Oh wait, that’s a MacBook…for now, I’ll stick with the Fledging Hubble.
