Our 4 favorite Jura coffee machines

We review a lot of Jura coffee machines. We love coffee, and Jura simply makes it taste amazing. Here is a list of our top four favorites.

4. Jura Giga 10

The Jura Giga 10 is a wonderful machine with many customization options. It has two grinders which can create different blends. Each holds 10-ounces of coffee and 88-ounces of water. The machine also has the special feature of making a cold brew. It is also possible to make 35 different brews on the machine. Using the touchscreen, you can adjust mix, strength, milk and many other factors to make the perfect cup. There is also an app that lets you adjust the settings from your phone, and save a favorite brew with one click. The only negative regarding this machine is the time it took to heat for water. A nice cup of tea comes a bit faster with other Jura machines. Overall, this is a great machine for any home, and even saves a trip to the coffee shop.

3. Jura Ena 8

At (only) $1,699, the Jura Ena 8 is an affordable coffee machine due to its smaller size. Instead of use in an office or for a family, it is the perfect machine for singles or couples at home. The bean capacity is 4.4-ounces and water capacity is 37-ounces. Calling $1,699 affordable is a bit of a stretch for a coffee maker, though compared to the price tags of other Jura machines, not to mention daily Starbuck visits, it is good value for high quality coffee. Despite lower capacity, the features are still there and the coffee tastes perfect. The machine can be configured using an app and the machine looks great tucked into a coffee nook.

2. Jura J8 Twin

The Jura J8 Twin is a beast of a coffee machine that gives you plenty of choices about how to make your blend. As the name implies, the Jura J8 Twin has two grinders that can be customized independently. That means, you can use two different beans or adjust the grind. You can have decaf on one side and a dark roast on the other. Jura says there are 31 different brews you can make including an espresso, a latte, and everything in between including a function for adding sweetener or syrup. The machine has a large touch screen, and the taste easily compares to any coffee available at your go to coffee shop. Naturally, such flexibility comes with a price tag, namely $3,499. However, a quality machine should last years and using it in place of visiting Starbucks means the machine pays for itself in short order. The set up was a breeze and the customization was fun, making the Jura J8 Twin another wonderful option for coffee lovers.

Jura Z10

At a price of $4,000 the Jura Z10 has all the bells and whistles. It may not be coffee delivered in bed, but since you can design a brew and then save it in the app, a simple touch of your phone in the morning from your bed is as close as it can get. The machine can make cold and hot brews. It has 32 different programming options, from espresso to latte and a cup of hot water. The grinder is excellent, whisper quiet and with strength settings from 1 to 10 that are adjustable with a simple sliding scale. The machine is sleek and fits comfortably on any kitchen counter. All in all, my favorite coffee machine.
